Project Evaluation Techniques (GAP)

GAP Analysis

Gap analysis is used to analysis internal factors of the project, the opposite of PEST analysis. GAP analysis is sometime called the space between where we are and where we want to be” – Margaret Rouse.

A GAP analysis is used to determent the state of the project where it is, and determines the outcome of the project after it is finished. GAP analysis can conclude to hire new personnel to conclude the project, or what services can be used or scraped to finish the project in time.

GAP is excellent to be used on short terms goals because it does not need lot of time planning to due. At the college the GAP analysis can be used for each feature to decide if feasible to be done and what can happen to the project if the feature is left out.
